Deck overview

Skeleton Ship is a Dimir attrition-control deck that wins by grinding the table's resources before emptying libraries with The Water Crystal. The commander is a reusable -1/-1-counter removal piece that keeps blockers and combo creatures off the board, while stax enchantments such as Aether Storm, Dystopia, and Infernal Darkness slow opponents' mana and creature development. Tutors and Necropotence find the lock pieces, and Helm of Obedience provides recursive value. The only compact kill is the Crystal's repeatable mill, so most wins are slow: take control, outdraw the table, then mill three 99-card libraries over several turns. It has no fast combo and is fragile to resolved noncreature permanents.
