Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Dimir Ninja Burn list piloted by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The strategy centers on deploying efficient, evasive 0- and 1-drop creatures on Turn 1, then activating Commander ninjutsu on Turn 2 to bypass commander tax and immediately trigger Yuriko's combat ability. By manipulating the top of the library with cards like Scroll Rack, Sensei's Divining Top, Brainsurge, and Vampiric Tutor, the deck converts combat connections into table-wide life loss using high-mana-value payloads such as Draco, Shadow of Mortality, and Temporal Trespass. Free and low-cost interaction spells like Snuff Out, Force of Despair, Submerge, and Commandeer allow the deck to disrupt opponents' critical lines without slowing down its own aggressive deployment.
