Deck overview

This deck is a Bant +1/+1 counters and proliferate midrange strategy commanded by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian. The game plan focuses on deploying early creatures and counter generators, casting Tidus on Turn 3, and moving counters onto evasive attackers to consistently trigger Cheer for incremental card advantage and board-wide proliferation. As the board grows, multiplicative engines like Brokers Ascendancy, Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, and Wakka, Devoted Guardian rapidly balloon creature power. The deck converts this stacked board presence into victory around Turns 6 to 8 using asymmetric sweepers like Damning Verdict, mass double strike from Chocobo Knights, or trample evasion from Sphere Grid. Additionally, an infinite mana combo between Incubation Druid and Freed from the Real provides an alternate outlet into Walking Ballista. Built-in protection like shield counters, Together Forever, and Inspiring Call helps preserve the engine against conventional creature removal.
