Deck overview

This deck is a Mardu Enchantress Reanimator strategy piloted by Ghen, Arcanum Weaver. It leverages early ramp and discard enablers like Entomb, Faithless Looting, and Bitter Reunion to stock the graveyard with high-cost enchantment threats. Ghen, Arcanum Weaver circumvents steep casting costs by sacrificing low-cost utility enchantments to cheat game-ending permanents such as Summon: Knights of Round, Captive Audience, and Starfield of Nyx directly into play. The deck establishes asymmetric board control through High Noon, which limits opponents to one spell per turn while Ghen operates via activated abilities, alongside formidable attack taxes from Ghostly Prison and Sphere of Safety. Constellation engines like Thoughtrender Lamia and Doomwake Giant repeatedly strip resources and suppress opposing boards. Victory is achieved through overwhelming combat damage generated by Angel tokens from Sigil of the Empty Throne, Pegasus swarms from Archon of Sun's Grace, and animated enchantments, backed by group drain from Grim Guardian.
