Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color Polymorph control strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. Instead of running small utility creatures, the 99 contains only game-ending threats and planeswalkers alongside noncreature token generators. The primary plan ramps during early turns, creates token fodder with enchantments and instants like Bitterblossom or Hard Evidence, and casts Jace on turn 4. Jace's -3 ability immediately exiles a token to reveal and cheat devastating bombs directly onto the battlefield, including Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, Toxrill, the Corrosive, and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite. These threats severely tax opposing spells and dismantle creature boards while the deck protects its lead with efficient countermagic and spot removal. Redundant polymorph spells such as Mass Polymorph and Synthetic Destiny expand the board state, enabling a clean combat finish by turn 7.
