Deck overview

This deck is a Simic +1/+1 counters and X-spell powerhouse commanded by Zimone, Infinite Analyst. The game plan revolves around accelerating early mana, casting Zimone, and chaining X-cost spells across all turn cycles. Each first X-spell on any player's turn adds +1/+1 counters to Zimone, which in turn reduces the generic mana cost of future X-spells. The deck converts this compounding discount into massive card advantage through spells like Pull from Tomorrow and Stroke of Genius, while deploying a deep suite of reactive X-counterspells such as Syncopate and Condescend to disrupt opponents and grow Zimone on their turns. Counter multipliers like Branching Evolution and Doubling Season rapidly inflate threats into game-ending beaters, including Primordial Hydra, Kalonian Hydra, and Primo, the Unbounded. The deck concludes games by overwhelming the table with enormous trample damage or resolving an explosive Doppelgang, backed by protective spells like Heroic Intervention and Silkguard.
