Deck overview

This deck is a Simic Clone Midrange strategy spearheaded by Kimahri, Valiant Guardian. It utilizes dense two-mana ramp to deploy Kimahri on Turn 3, immediately triggering Ronso Rage at combat to grow with +1/+1 counters, tap down opposing blockers, and copy the premier creature on the battlefield. The list maximizes this repeatable combat ability through potent synergy engines: Verity Circle draws cards whenever Kimahri taps a creature, Loki, God of Mischief triggers off Kimahri targeting opposing permanents, Freestrider Lookout ramps lands off committed crimes, and Terrasymbiosis converts counter placement into card advantage. Backed by an extensive suite of flexible clone creatures like Progenitor Mimic, Phyrexian Metamorph, and Altered Ego, the deck scales dynamically with the power level of the table. A comprehensive interaction suite of low-mana counterspells and removal protects the board before closing out the game around Turn 8 via overwhelming combat damage, Wave Goodbye, or a kicked Rite of Replication.
