Deck overview

This deck is a Simic Ramp and Sea Monster Stompy strategy piloted by Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait. The game plan revolves around rapidly developing mana using efficient land-search sorceries to deploy Aesi ahead of curve on Turn 4. Once on the battlefield, Aesi's passive additional land drops and landfall triggers generate immense card advantage, fueling the deployment of massive Krakens, Leviathans, Octopuses, and Serpents. The deck transitions into a lethal threat around Turn 6 by dropping overwhelming beaters such as Spawning Kraken, Koma, Cosmos Serpent, and Hullbreaker Horror, while clearing opposing blockers using asymmetric board wipes like Whelming Wave and Scourge of Fleets. While the deck excels at generating mana and drawing through its library, it relies primarily on combat damage to win and must protect its large investments from board wipes and targeted exile removal.
