Horobi, Death's Wail - Creature Hate by Leingad

Format: Commander

Creator: Leingad

Commander: Horobi, Death's Wail

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Horobi, Death's Wail transforms any targeting effect into instant-speed creature removal. The deck leverages cheap, repeatable, and low-cost targeting utilities like Squee's Toy, Tooth of Chiss-Goria, Touch of Darkness, and lands like Urborg to wipe opposing boards for minimal mana. Once the board is cleared of opposing threats, the strategy transitions into a hard lock or massive combat damage. It locks opponents completely out of mana via Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth paired with Kormus Bell while Horobi removes enemy lands, then closes games using reanimated powerhouses like Vilis, Broker of Blood or massive life drains with Profane Command and Sorin Markov.
