Rising Tide by user8691995

Format: Commander

Commander: Rikala, Homarid King

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Rikala, Homarid King is a slow Simic battlecruiser deck that turns tide counters into extra blue mana and global power, then converts that mana and repeated drawing into huge token armies. The primary plan is to keep Rikala alive through his three-upkeep counter cycle, combine him with High Tide for explosive mana, and use cards like Ominous Seas, Doubling Season, Extravagant Replication, and Deepglow Skate to build a large, evasive combat force. Secondary paths include a +1/+1 counter beatdown plan with Chasm Skulker and Hydroid Krasis, and a high-end cheating plan with Omniscience or Mind into Matter. No true infinite combo exists; the deck wins through overwhelming token and counter-based combat.
