Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan lifegain and reanimator strategy designed to convert life total manipulation into massive card advantage, explosive board states, and sudden combo finishes. Commanded by Betor, Ancestor's Voice, the deck leverages simultaneous lifegain and life payment to distribute +1/+1 counters and recur high-impact creatures directly from the graveyard. Dense two-mana ramp consistently deploys early engines like Black Market Connections, Sylvan Library, and Buried Alive, setting up devastating reanimation targets such as Vilis, Broker of Blood and Doom Whisperer. The deck closes games through redundant infinite life-drain loops combining Exquisite Blood with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, or Sanguine Bond, as well as storming through the library using Bolas's Citadel and Aetherflux Reservoir. Backed by comprehensive spot removal and protection like Dragonlord Dromoka, the deck operates with high velocity and lethal inevitability.
