Deck overview

This competitive Dimir tempo list leverages Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow to generate card advantage and table-wide life loss while threatening a compact secondary win with Thassa's Oracle. The primary plan deploys an evasive one-drop creature on Turn 1 and activates Commander Ninjutsu on Turn 2. Because Commander Ninjutsu bypasses the commander tax, Yuriko consistently enters combat on Turn 2 to trigger immediate card flow. On Turn 3 and Turn 4, the deck manipulates the top of the library with cards like Brainstorm, Lim-Dûl's Vault, and Insidious Dreams to reveal massive mana-value spells such as Draco and Shadow of Mortality, dealing up to 16 damage per trigger to every opponent simultaneously. Backed by a dense package of free countermagic and removal like Force of Negation, Flare of Denial, and Deadly Rollick, the deck disrupts faster combo attempts while maintaining pressure, ultimately finishing games through combat burns or a compact Consultation line.
