Deck overview

This deck, helmed by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice, is a classic Selesnya token-populate strategy that converts creature ETBs into life gain and then leverages that life total into overwhelming board presence. The primary game plan is to deploy early life-gain triggers (Soul Warden, Prosperous Innkeeper), cast Trostani to start gaining life equal to each creature's toughness, and then multiply tokens via populate effects (Rootborn Defenses, Nesting Dovehawk) and token doublers (Doubling Season, Mondrak, Glory Dominus). The deck wins through either a massive Aetherflux Reservoir activation, the Halo Fountain alt-win condition, or combat damage from enormous token armies (Ghalta and Mavren, Conclave Evangelist). It is a midrange value engine that aims to outlast opponents through life gain and token redundancy.
