Deck overview

This is a classic Orzhov aristocrats engine helmed by Teysa Karlov, built to weaponize death itself. Every creature is a cog in a sacrifice machine: cheap bodies like Gravecrawler and Reassembling Skeleton recur from the graveyard, a dense sac-outlet suite (Phyrexian Altar, Ashnod's Altar, Viscera Seer, Warren Soultrader) converts them into mana and triggers, and a deep drain package - Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, Mirkwood Bats - turns every death into table-wide life loss. Teysa doubles those death triggers, with Drivnod, Carnage Dominus providing a redundant doubler in the 99. The deck wins primarily through infinite death loops (Gravecrawler + Altar + drain, Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Putrid Goblin, Karmic Guide + Reveillark), backed by format-defining recursion in Sun Titan, Living Death, and Luminous Broodmoth. It grinds value relentlessly while threatening to go infinite at any moment.
