Too Poor for a real Black Lotus by Lure0fYggdrasil

Deck overview

The deck uses Kwia Vigorbloom as a high-cost life-gain engine. Once the commander is in play, each turn's first life-gain event creates a Lotus token that can provide three mana, allowing later turns to cast expensive payoffs. Foods, life-gain lands, Pristine Talisman, Soul Warden, Essence Warden, and token makers support the trigger and raise the life total. The main finish is Felidar Sovereign: after assembling the engine around turn 7, the deck can normally cast it around turn 8 with at least 40 life and win at the next upkeep. Test of Endurance and Angel of Destiny provide backup life-total wins, while Well of Lost Dreams and Bloombrute improve value when available. The deck has useful creature removal and protection, but limited tutoring, many tapped lands, little stack interaction, and weak recovery after a full engine wipe.
