Mogis Group Slug by Warlock_enjoyer

Format: Commander

Commander: Mogis, God of Slaughter

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos group-slug deck helmed by Mogis, God of Slaughter that aims to drain opponents incrementally through a dense suite of symmetrical pain effects, damage doublers, and life-loss triggers. The commander provides a persistent sacrifice-or-damage tax each upkeep, but the deck's engine functions independently of him. Primary win conditions include the Exquisite Blood + Bloodthirsty Conqueror infinite life-drain loop, Havoc Festival into Wound Reflection for a two-turn kill, or a massive Torment of Hailfire / Exsanguinate fueled by Descent into Avernus treasures. Damage doublers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and Torbran, Thane of Red Fell amplify every ping, turning Heartless Hidetsugu into a one-shot kill. The deck pressures all opponents simultaneously, leveraging creature-based stax pieces (Zo-Zu the Punisher, Manabarbs) and forced-draw punishers (Underworld Dreams, Spiteful Visions) to grind down life totals.
