Deck overview

This is a Dimir Horror-mill "reanimator by theft" deck helmed by Captain N'ghathrod, who turns every Horror combat hit into mill and then lets you pluck the best artifact or creature that was milled from each opponent's graveyard each end step. The primary plan is to play a critical mass of Horrors - some unblockable, some shadow, some with menace or fear - to force consistent N'ghathrod triggers, while a supporting mill package (Bruvac the Grandiloquent, Maddening Cacophony, Fractured Sanity, Ruin Crab) accelerates opponents toward empty libraries. The backup win conditions are mill-based alt-win engines: Mindcrank combos with any damage/drain source, Sphinx's Tutelage mills explosively with draw outlets, and Duskmantle Guildmage provides repeatable drain/mill reach. Interaction is a solid mix of counterspells, removal, and mass bounce, with a few high-end control finishers like Toxrill, the Corrosive and Hullbreaker Horror.
