Deck overview

This mono-white blink deck is commanded by Preston, the Vanisher, focusing on leveraging enter-the-battlefield abilities and flicker spells to generate immense card advantage and board control. Whenever a nontoken creature enters without being cast, Preston duplicates it as a 0/1 Illusion token. The deck capitalizes on this ability through an extensive suite of low-cost instant flickers such as Ephemerate and Cloudshift, pairing them with cantrip creatures like Spirited Companion and Inspiring Overseer to fuel a compounding draw engine. The primary win condition revolves around infinite blink loops using Felidar Guardian paired with Preston, Restoration Angel, or Wispweaver Angel, generating unbounded mana, infinite Illusion tokens, and infinite ETB triggers. With infinite Illusions and mana, Preston repeatedly activates to exile all opposing nonland permanents, completely stripping opponents of resources before closing the game with lethal combat damage. While vulnerable to anti-ETB stax and lacking fast mana acceleration, the deck boasts resilient board protection and redundant combo lines.
