Deck overview

This Sultai deck focuses on Kotis, the Fangkeeper as an aggressive Voltron commander that converts combat damage into massive tempo by stealing and freely casting spells from opponents' libraries. Supported by an extensive package of low-cost mana acceleration, Kotis consistently enters the battlefield on Turn 3. On Turn 4, the deck attaches evasion enablers and substantial power modifiers to bypass blockers and trigger Kotis's ability. This simultaneously creates a fast commander damage clock and deploys multiple free spells directly onto the board. Printed indestructible gives Kotis natural resilience against conventional sweepers, while dense equipment granting hexproof, shroud, and ward shields the commander from targeted removal. However, the list runs virtually zero reactive counterspells or removal, making it a pure proactive race against faster combo and interaction-heavy strategies.
