Deck overview

Toph, the First Metalbender leads a land-centric beatdown deck that animates lands and nontoken artifacts into recurring combat threats using the earthbend mechanic. The commander turns artifacts into lands and turns target lands into hasty 0/0 creatures with two +1/+1 counters that return tapped if removed. The primary win condition is overwhelming opponents through explosive combat phases powered by landfall token generators like Avenger of Zendikar and Scute Swarm, or massive earthbent attackers enhanced by Bumi, Unleashed, Moraug, Fury of Akoum, and Toph, Greatest Earthbender to deliver lethal swings across multiple combat steps.
