Deck overview

Teval, the Balanced Scale is the engine of a Sultai graveyard-matters deck. The primary plan is to self-mill aggressively, then use Teval's attack trigger to return lands, trigger landfall payoffs, and create Zombie Druid tokens every time cards leave the graveyard. Secondary win paths use reanimation (Meren, Kotis, Victimize, Afterlife from the Loam), a huge Lord of Extinction or Consuming Aberration sacrificed to Jarad, and a slow Dark Depths/Ob Nixilis landfall grind. The deck has no compact combo; it wins by accumulating graveyard-fueled advantage, then converting that into mass drain or overwhelming creature presence. Interaction is mostly for permanents, not stacks, so it prefers long, value-heavy games.
