Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Homer, the Hermit leads a Sultai self-mill/landfall deck that aims to overwhelm opponents by milling their libraries and draining life through graveyard triggers. The primary plan is to deploy Homer early, load the board with creatures that are all creature types (changelings and Maskwood Nexus) so that each land drop mills a massive chunk of each opponent's deck. The deck leans heavily on graveyard recursion - Life from the Loam, Muldrotha, the Gravetide, Six, and Zask, Skittering Swarmlord - to replay lands from the bin and sustain the mill engine. Backup wins come from Syr Konrad, the Grim (pinging for each milled creature) and Consuming Aberration growing huge, plus mass reanimation via Afterlife from the Loam. With a 2.73 average MV, the deck is mana-efficient but lacks a fast clock, relying on incremental value to grind out games.
