Bracket: 5

DeckCheck Threat Index: 80

Deck overview

This competitive Gruul deck leverages Etali, Primal Conqueror as a high-velocity turbo threat and infinite mana outlet. By deploying format-ceiling fast mana, explosive rituals, and cost-cheating enablers such as Treasonous Ogre and Hellkite Courser, the deck routinely casts its commander on Turn 2 or Turn 3. Resolving Etali immediately exiles and casts the top nonland spell from all four libraries, generating massive card and mana advantage that cascades into instant victory. In addition to raw commander velocity, the deck runs compact, redundant infinite win conditions including Food Chain with Squee, the Immortal—which generates infinite creature mana to repeatedly cast Etali and exile every opponent library—and Dualcaster Mage with Twinflame for an immediate hasty token assault. Backed by ultra-efficient stack protection like Veil of Summer, Deflecting Swat, and Pyroblast, along with uncounterable enablers like Cavern of Souls and Hexing Squelcher, the deck consistently threatens protected, same-turn table finishes.
