The Human Plague by user8249559

Format: Commander

Commander: Éowyn, Shieldmaiden

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai Human-tribal token aggro deck built around Eowyn, Shieldmaiden. The core plan is to trigger her combat ability by playing a Human before combat, generating two 2/2 red Human Knight tokens with trample and haste, then leveraging a wide board of tokens, anthem effects, and extra combat steps to close out the game. The deck combines a dense Human creature base with token producers like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Horn of Gondor, and Forth Eorlingas!, and finishers like Shared Animosity, Greymond, Avacyn's Stalwart, Aggravated Assault, and Combat Celebrant. A robust protection suite of counterspells, turn-protection, and phase-out effects keeps the board alive through the critical turns. The deck wins through combat damage, typically by a single massive swing or by chaining extra combats to eliminate all opponents.
