Thorin, King of Durin’s Folk by Tsmiley

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads a midrange Dwarf-Equipment deck that turns Dwarf ETBs into Treasures and uses those tokens to fuel an equipment voltron finish supported by a wide token plan. The commander is the primary equipment carrier; Dain Ironfoot, Bruenor, and Cadric multiply the clock, while Sram and Fighter Class dig for pieces. There is no true hidden commander, though supporting legendary Dwarves act as force multipliers. The deck wants to resolve Thorin on turn 4, equip Sword of Hearth and Home or Orcrist, and close with double strike or repeated evasive commander hits. Sagas such as There and Back Again provide a secondary Dragon-token route.
