Kaalia of the Vast by user8581075

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a classic Kaalia of the Vast build that leverages her attack trigger to cheat out powerful Angels, Demons, and Dragons from hand. The core strategy is to accelerate into Kaalia, protect her, and then chain multiple combat phases using Aurelia, the Warleader, Combat Celebrant, and Breath of Fury to overwhelm opponents with impossible-to-block flyers and massive damage. The deck also includes a one-shot kill with Master of Cruelties and can use Demonic Tutor-style effects to find critical pieces. Reanimation from Whip of Erebos and Necromancy provides backup, while a robust suite of protection spells keeps Kaalia on the battlefield. The primary win condition is combat damage, often via infinite combats, with secondary paths through overwhelming board presence or Hellkite Tyrant's artifact win condition.
