Deck overview

Sisay, Weatherlight Captain commands a premier 5-color cEDH toolbox and combo deck. The primary strategy leverages format-ceiling acceleration, including zero-drop mana artifacts and efficient one-drop mana dorks, to establish five colors of mana by Turn 2 or Turn 3. Sisay acts as an instant-speed tutor engine from the command zone, capable of placing silver-bullet stax pieces like Drana and Linvala and Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar or immediate combo enablers like Derevi, Empyrial Tactician and Emiel the Blessed directly onto the battlefield. The deck features multiple redundant and independent win conditions: an infinite mana and permanent-loop line through Sisay that finishes via Mount Doom or Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God, and a compact Thassa's Oracle plus Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact stack-based kill. Backed by free countermagic, instant-speed protection, and powerful draw engines like The One Ring and Rhystic Study, the deck consistently threatens protected game-ending attempts on Turn 3.
