Deck overview

This is a general-power Simic creature deck centered on Koma, Cosmos Serpent. Its normal plan is to ramp into the commander, add Serpent of Yawning Depths or a token engine, and win through a growing army of Koma's Coil tokens. Koma, Cosmos Serpent is a strong mana sink and is difficult to counter, but the deck does not have enough tutors, cheap acceleration, or compact finishing effects to operate like a competitive deck. Token doublers such as Adrix and Nev, Twincasters, Second Harvest, and Parallel Evolution can raise the ceiling, while Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait, Curiosity Crafter, and Starwinder provide later card flow. The main weakness is timing: the deck needs several expensive permanents, then several combat steps to eliminate three opponents. Its interaction is respectable but must compete with its development costs.
