Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Mardu monarch-politics and damage-reflection deck helmed by Queen Marchesa. The primary plan is to seize the crown, tax attacks with deathtouch Assassins and pillowfort-style deterrents, then close through a dense suite of "when this is dealt damage" creatures and equipment-Stuffy Doll, Brash Taunter, Boros Reckoner, Spitemare, Phyrexian Vindicator, Blazing Sunsteel, Fiendlash, and Pain for All-fed by Blasphemous Act, Chain Reaction, or Arcbond. Secondary paths include planeswalker value (Dihada, Binder of Wills, Liliana, Dreadhorde General, Vraska, Betrayal's Sting), Strixhaven Stadium attrition, and combat pressure from monarch tokens and anthems. Marchesa herself is a cheap haste body that guarantees the monarch and grinds out Assassins, but the win lines live almost entirely in the 99.
