Beastly Stampede by EchoedLies

Format: Commander

Commander: Slinza, the Spiked Stampede

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a straightforward Gruul Beast tribal deck helmed by Slinza, the Spiked Stampede, built to deploy a relentless parade of oversized trampling creatures. The commander provides a significant cost reduction for Beasts, a +1/+1 counter on each other Beast that enters, and a repeatable fight trigger on any power-4-or-greater creature entering-turning every big body into removal. The deck's primary win condition is overwhelming combat damage, accelerated by anthem effects like Thunderfoot Baloth and Unnatural Growth, the explosive pump of Overwhelming Stampede, and the mass token generation of Ezuri's Predation. Card-draw engines such as Beast Whisperer, Garruk's Uprising, and Wirewood Savage ensure the hand stays full of threats, while a handful of protection spells (Inspiring Call, Smuggler's Surprise) keep the board alive through wipes. The plan is linear: ramp, cast Slinza, flood the board with Beasts, and turn them sideways.
