Deck overview

Araumi of the Dead Tide is a self-mill reanimator engine that turns one creature card into three hasty token copies. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard early, cast Araumi, and encore a bomb such as Abhorrent Overlord or Gray Merchant. Three Overlord copies create a massive flying Harpy army and balloon black devotion, setting up a Gray Merchant encore that drains 3 X from each opponent. Backup lines use Grave Titan, Artisan of Kozilek, Bane of Bala Ged, and Altar of Dementia for combat, annihilator, and mill pressure. Gyruda is a value subtheme but cannot companion because the deck contains odd mana values. Sundial of the Infinite is the only way to keep encore tokens beyond the end step.
