Deck overview

Zur, Eternal Schemer leads an Esper enchantress deck that turns its enchantments into hexproof, lifelink attackers while assembling a life-drain loop. The primary win is Sanguine Bond or Enduring Tenacity plus Exquisite Blood: any life gain or opponent life loss becomes an infinite drain, often started by Zur animating Sanguine Bond and attacking. Secondary paths are Aetherflux Reservoir life-gain bursts and wide combat from Ghostly Dancers, Soaring Lightbringer, and Heliod tokens. The commander is a protection and animation engine rather than a required combo piece. Hidden commander Zur the Enchanter in the 99 fetches low-cost enchantments, while Replenish, The Master of Keys, and Hall of Heliod's Generosity provide recursion.
