Hoid and the 16 Shards by Nightblood

Format: Commander

Commander: Niko, Light of Hope

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Azorius blink/flicker deck is helmed by Niko, Light of Hope, a commander that generates Shard tokens on entry and can turn those tokens into copies of your creatures. The primary game plan is to chain flicker effects, doubled by Panharmonicon and similar triggers, to generate card advantage, token armies, and overwhelming board presence. Win conditions include combat damage through token swarms, myriad creatures, and the alternate win condition of Twenty-Toed Toad. The deck is a value engine that outlasts opponents through repeated ETB triggers and recursion, though it lacks a fast combo finish.
