Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Jund Aristocrats Combo-Control list focused on -1/-1 counter mechanics. Helmed by The Reaper, King No More, the deck uses -1/-1 counters as both an oppressive board-control tool and an engine for infinite death triggers. By combining token generators like Nest of Scarabs and Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons with Blowfly Infestation or Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, the deck generates enormous board presence and card advantage. It converts these loops into decisive same-turn victories via drain outlets like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Obelisk Spider. Opposing boards are systematically suppressed by asymmetric attrition cards like Maha, Its Feathers Night and Kulrath Knight, while the commander steals surviving creatures. The deck's primary vulnerabilities lie in a lack of stack interaction and protective spells, leaving its multi-permanent combos exposed to well-timed removal.
