Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-red Dragon tribal strategy piloted by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. It uses early artifact ramp and Dragon cost-reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman to accelerate into its 6-mana commander by turn 5. Once Lathliss is established, every subsequent Dragon spell doubles in board impact by creating a 5/5 flying Dragon token. The deck turns this board presence into lethal pressure through haste enablers like Dragon Tempest and Mass Hysteria, direct burn triggers from Scourge of Valkas, and combat escalations like Terror of Mount Velus and Utvara Hellkite. While explosive in the air, the list is vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and lacks heavy stack interaction, requiring careful sequencing of threats.
