Deck overview

This Golgari deck combines classic Elf tribal ramp and swarm tactics with a graveyard-centric sacrifice finish led by Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. During the early turns, mana dorks like Llanowar Elves and explosive ramp engines like Priest of Titania accelerate development while self-mill cards stock the graveyard with Elf cards. Mid-game turns establish steady card advantage through Leaf-Crowned Visionary and board control through High Perfect Morcant. The deck transitions into a lethal threat by deploying powerhouses whose power scales with graveyard size, notably Abomination of Llanowar and Moon-Vigil Adherents. Once these creatures reach double-digit power, Jarad sacrifices them to drain all opponents simultaneously, bypassing traditional combat blockers. Even when facing board wipes, the deck recovers rapidly because dead creatures directly fuel its graveyard scaling and enable mass reanimation through Bloodline Bidding.
