Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Grixis discard and reanimator strategy commanded by Norman Osborn // Green Goblin. Early turns focus on deploying Norman Osborn to establish unblockable combat filtering through connive. On Turn 4, transforming into Green Goblin unlocks a static two-mana cost reduction for all spells cast from the graveyard and gives discarded nonland cards mayhem. The deck capitalizes on this engine by discarding heavy hitters like The Squadron Sinister, Abomination, World Ravager, and Mysterio, Master of Illusion, casting them immediately at a steep discount. Discard-triggered engines like Archfiend of Ifnir and M.O.D.O.K. repeatedly decimate opposing creature boards, while Bone Miser and Leader, Super-Genius provide continuous card and mana surplus. The deck closes games around Turn 6 by overwhelming opponents with hasty aerial combat and cumulative burn from Glint-Horn Buccaneer and Magmakin Artillerist.
