Deck overview

This deck is a classic five-color Dragon tribal build helmed by The Ur-Dragon. Taking full advantage of the eminence ability, every Dragon spell cast receives a permanent one-mana discount from the command zone. The deck focuses on accelerating into cost reducers and mid-game mana engines to deploy high-impact flying beaters such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Atarka, World Render, Old Gnawbone, and Utvara Hellkite. ETB draw engines like Temur Ascendancy, Garruk's Uprising, and The Great Henge sustain continuous hand refill as threats are deployed. Damage multipliers and burst entry triggers from Dragon Tempest, Terror of the Peaks, and Scourge of Valkas allow the deck to turn massive bodies into burn and combat lethality. The mana base features extensive color fixing, though a high count of tapped lands slows down early-turn tempo.
