Deck overview

Betor, Kin to All is the deck's engine and finisher: its end-step thresholds turn a high-toughness board into card draw, untapping, and repeated life halving. The 99 is built around that plan with a toughness-matters core (Doran, Bedrock Tortoise, Canopy Gargantuan, the Tree cycle) and a reanimator shell that survives and recovers from sweepers. Betor, Ancestor's Voice appears in the 99 as a secondary life-gain/loss payoff, but the deck does not use a hidden commander. Play is durable midrange: ramp early, establish 40+ toughness, halve life, then finish with toughness-based combat damage or a mass-recursion drain.
