7 mana, 5 colors, and a dream by Godsdead333

Format: Commander

Commander: Maular, the Next Evolution

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Maular is a single-faced commander whose Rulebreaker permission is the deck's backbone: a green base can run MV 7+ creatures of every color, turning this into a five-color battlecruiser. The primary plan is aggressive ramp to 7+ mana, then cast or cheat in huge hasty threats and let Maular double their power during combat. Secondary paths include Triumph of the Hordes as an infect overrun, Archfiend of Despair to punish life loss, and Urzatron plus Nyxbloom Ancient for explosive mana. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Maular as a combat multiplier rather than as an engine.
