Spells Swinger by user1227018

Format: Commander

Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Vivi Ornitier leads a fast Izzet storm-combo deck. The commander is not a combo piece: she is a repeatable mana battery and a drain engine that grows each time a noncreature spell is cast. The deck actually wins through three independent loops: Isochron Scepter plus Dramatic Reversal for infinite mana and storm; Underworld Breach with Lion's Eye Diamond and Wheel/Brain Freeze; and Hullbreaker Horror/Tidespout Tyrant with Banishing Knack/Retraction Helix on mana-positive artifacts. Veyran, Harmonic Prodigy, and Ghyrson Starn amplify the burn while Niv-Mizzet and Aetherflux Reservoir convert loops into lethal damage. Ghyrson Starn acts as a secondary ping amplifier rather than a true hidden commander.
