Deck overview

This Esper deck leverages Jin Sakai, Ghost of Tsushima as a versatile Voltron and combat engine. Jin grants solo attackers either Double Strike (Standoff) to double damage and combat triggers, or unblockability (Ghost) to bypass blockers entirely, while drawing cards upon dealing combat damage. The deck accelerates into Jin using low-cost mana rocks, searches high-impact Equipment via tutors like Stoneforge Mystic and Steelshaper's Gift, and attaches devastating artifacts such as Quietus Spike, Grafted Exoskeleton, and Sword of Feast and Famine. Lethal synergies like Bloodletter of Aclazotz and Unstoppable Slasher accelerate life totals to zero in single hits. A dense suite of premium countermagic, targeted removal, and defensive tools like Robe of Stars and Grand Abolisher protects the commander while systematically dismantling opposing game plans. The deck reliably presents lethal threats on Turn 5 and closes the game across consecutive combat turns.
