Cascade 5 by user8813871

Format: Commander

Commander: The Wandering Minstrel

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a five-color cascade/discover value pile rather than a Towns deck. The Wandering Minstrel is mainly mana smoothing: lands enter untapped, which makes the many shock, bounce, and triome lands reliable; its token and pump abilities are essentially dead because the list contains only one Town (Starting Town). The primary plan is to chain cascade spells into free spells while accumulating cast-from-exile payoffs such as Keeper of Secrets, Nico Minoru, Quintorius Kand, and Terror of the Peaks, then burn the table or attack with hasty threats from Maelstrom Wanderer. Secondary paths include Etali's free spells, One with the Multiverse, and Insurrection as a late swing. The First Sliver acts as a hidden cascade engine when drawn.
