Vivi, OmniMan by user5792840

Format: Commander

Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck uses Vivi Ornitier as a growing mana engine and ping source. You cast cheap cantrips and instants to put counters on Vivi, deal 1 to each opponent per spell, and stack additional pingers like Guttersnipe, Firebrand Archer, Coruscation Mage, Fiery Inscription and Gandalf for multiplied damage. Vivi's 0 ability then converts its power into burst mana to chain more spells in one turn. Secondary wins use storm and big mana finishers such as Grapeshot and Crackle with Power, or Chandra's Ignition on a large Vivi, while Niv-Mizzet, Parun with Curiosity and Ophidian Eye and Hullbreaker Horror with Sol Ring offer slow combo lines. Veyran and Ojer Axonil amplify the triggers.
