Deck overview

This deck is a classic casual Mono-Blue Flying Tempo strategy commanded by Falcon, Winged Wonder. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost defensive creatures and card filtering spells during the opening turns, establishing land drops reliably with a heavy basic Island mana base. On Turn 5, the commander enters the battlefield to create Redwing, an evasive token that provides repeatable surveil triggers on attack. The deck supplements this core engine with mid-sized flying creatures, tempo-oriented bounce spells, and situational countermagic to contest key opposing plays. Because the deck lacks explosive mana acceleration, tutors, or infinite combos, victory is achieved through gradual aerial combat damage distributed across opponents over extended turn cycles. While resilient to single-target disruption due to interchangeable fliers and steady land development, the deck remains vulnerable to board wipes and fast combo strategies.
