Deck overview

This deck is a Boros spellslinger and control deck commanded by Lorehold, the Historian. The core strategy revolves around ramping into Lorehold by Turn 4 or 5 to unlock its powerful miracle granting static ability and upkeep rummaging engine. Because Lorehold allows you to discard and draw during each opponent's upkeep, every instant and sorcery drawn on an opponent's turn can be cast for just two mana via miracle. The list leverages this mana cheat to cast game-warping high-cost spells like Approach of the Second Sun, Storm Herd, Apex of Power, and Mizzix's Mastery far ahead of curve. A supporting package of efficient white spot removal, red sweepers, and token generators such as Monastery Mentor provides mid-game stability and board presence while the deck digs for its primary win conditions.
