merfolk redux by user7914116

Format: Commander

Commander: Adrix and Nev, Twincasters

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Merfolk tribal deck builds a wide board of 1/1 hexproof tokens and lords, then wins through combat. Adrix and Nev doubles every token you create and stacks with Doubling Season and Parallel Lives for explosive growth. Deeproot Waters, Deeproot Pilgrimage and Emperor Mihail II generate tokens on each Merfolk cast or tap, while Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca acts as a hidden commander that draws cards and pumps the team. Secondary wins come from Simic Ascendancy growing with +1/+1 counters and Coat of Arms turning a modest board lethal. The deck has no infinite combo and relies on a single combat alpha.
