Caelum et Infernum by Olly290

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a classic Mardu Kaalia of the Vast cheat-in midrange deck that weaponizes Angels, Demons, and Dragons. The primary plan is to land Kaalia, attack, and drop oversized flyers into combat for free-bypassing their high mana costs. Extra-combat payoffs (Aurelia, the Warleader, Scourge of the Throne) and attack-trigger doublers (Windcrag Siege) turn a single swing into a multi-combat avalanche. Secondary paths include reanimation (Reanimate, Victimize, Karmic Guide, Reya Dawnbringer) and fair hardcasts backed by ramp. There are no infinite combo lines; the deck wins through combat damage, often amplified by Gisela, Blade of Goldnight's damage doubling. Protection boots, board-wide indestructible effects, and sticky recursion keep the air force online through disruption.
