Deck overview

This Boros deck combines high-impact Dragon tribal aggression with enter-the-battlefield flicker synergies. Commanded by Ganax, Astral Hunter and Far Traveler, the strategy ramps into substantial flying threats while generating a steady stream of Treasure tokens whenever Dragons enter the battlefield. By attacking and tapping creatures, Far Traveler resets them at the end step, doubling up on powerful triggers from staples like Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, and Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The deck supplements traditional combat steps with explosive burn from Dragon Tempest and alternative mana cheating via Sneak Attack. While the list features limited card draw engines and lacks an oppressive stax presence, it protects its substantial board commitments with premium mass-blink instants and free redirection spells. Ordinary games establish engine assembly around Turn 5, introduce game-ending pressure on Turn 6, and systematically close out multiplayer tables by Turn 8.
