Deck overview

Hashaton, Scarab's Fist leads an Esper discard, cycling, and token-reanimation strategy that transforms discarded creature cards into an army of 4/4 black Zombie tokens. The deck uses low-cost discard enablers like Psychic Frog, Raffine, Scheming Seer, and Tortured Existence alongside a dense package of cycling lands to fuel consistent card flow and trigger its commander. Once Hashaton is operational, high-impact creature cards such as Archfiend of Ifnir, Bone Miser, and Angel of the Ruins are converted into immediate 4/4 token copies with enter-the-battlefield or discard-trigger abilities. Token amplifiers like Anointed Procession and Mondrak, Glory Dominus multiply board presence, while Wonder in the graveyard grants flying to the entire Zombie horde. The deck controls opposing boards through Archfiend's asymmetric -1/-1 counters and efficient interaction like Fierce Guardianship and Deadly Rollick, closing out games through overwhelming flying combat damage by Turn 8.
